Aeroméxico will launch six weekly flights between Barcelona and Mexico City starting in 2026.

The service will operate from March 28 to October 24 and will be flown with Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft.

Flights from Mexico City to Barcelona will depart at 5.20 pm on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.

Flights from Barcelona to Mexico City will depart at 2.45 pm on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.

The Mexican airline says the route is part of an "intensive" cooperation effort with Catalan authorities.

In 2024, passenger traffic between the two cities reached 156,000 travelers.
