24-Apr-24: 'New decree to limit temporary rental apartments' prices'
Catalonia regulates temporary rental apartments for working or studying tenants, limiting rent prices based on use rather than on the length of contracts. A decree passed today will fight the fraudulent use of temporary rents that have become the norm across Catalonia. This is in response to owners exploiting a loophole in the rent price reference index limiting rent prices for long-term leases since mid-March.
