3-Apr-24: 'Police arrest father for allegedly killing child and injuring mother'
Police have arrested a father suspected of killing his child and injuring the mother in a knife attack in Baix Empordà county. The four or five-year-old boy was attacked in his bed, while the mother managed to leave the flat and alert a neighbor. The couple is in the process of separating, and there is a possible history of gender-based violence from last year.
