Barça celebrate 28th league title with parade through city
670,000 fans take to the streets to party with players

670,000 fans turned out to celebrate FC Barcelona's 28th league title in a parade through the streets of the Catalan capital on Friday.

The open-top bus parade set off from the Camp Nou at 6 pm and arrived at Arc de Triomf around 9 pm.

Roads will be closed and bus routes affected for the duration of the celebrations, with the Barcelona City Council recommending traveling on the metro or by train if possible.

The parade covers a 6.8-kilometer route from Camp Nou to Arc de Triomf via Arístides Maillol, Travessera de les Corts, Numància, Berlín, París, Balmes, Pelai, Plaça Catalunya, Fontanella, Plaça Urquinaona, Trafalgar, and Passeig Sant Joan.

There will be three entertainment points along the route: at Josep Tarradellas/Berlín at 7pm, Plaça Catalunya/Pelai at 8pm, and Arc de Triomf at 9pm.

Barça sealed the league title on Thursday with a 0-2 victory at the home of local rivals Espanyol.

Hansi Flick's first season in charge has brought the club their 28th La Liga trophy, the Copa del Rey, and Super Cup – as well as a run to the semi-finals of the Champions League.
