Catalan singer Rosalía won Best Latin Rock or Alternative Album for 'Motomami' at the 65th Annual Grammy Awards last night in Los Angeles.

She beat Jorge Drexler's 'Tinta y tiempo', Mon Laferte's '1940 Carmen', Gaby Moreno's 'Alegoría', and Fito Páez's 'Los años salvajes'.

This is the second time the musician from Sant Esteve Sesrovires, near Barcelona, scoops a Grammy for Best Latin Rock or Alternative Album as she won in that category in 2020 for 'El mal querer.'

She did not, however, pick up the award for Best Music Film her TikTok live performance was nominated for, and it ended up going to various artists for 'Jazz Fest: A New Orleans Story'.

Rosalía also won big at the Latin Grammys last November: Album of the Year, Best Alternative Music Album, Best Recording Package, and Best Engineered Album.

Beyoncé makes history

US superstar Beyoncé, who will be performing in Barcelona on June 8, became the most Grammy-awarded artist in history last night, picking up four prizes and bringing her grand total to 32.

Harry Styles won Album of the Year for 'Harry's House', beating Beyoncé and the category's eight other nominees.
