Water in Mediterranean sea over 1ºC warmer

Water temperature in the Mediterranean has increased by 1.4ºC since 1970s, with scientists expecting a 5ºC rise by the end of the century. The sea level will also rise by a meter over the same period according to the Meteocat weather service.
