Hotels end summer campaign with 87% of occupancy but with more late bookings

Hotels in Barcelona ended their summer campaign with 87% of occupancy, just under the numbers in 2019. Prices went up by 15% in a season conditioned by the increasing practice of late bookings.

"Since Covid-19, our visitors' habits have changed. One curious example we see is that reservations are made last minute, which was not the case before," Jordi Clos, Barcelona hotels association president said.
