From private land to community garden
A dozen people will be able to participate in the 'Lo Tros' organic community garden project in the southern Catalonia town of Amposta. A resident donated the land to the local council on one condition: it had to benefit society. People at risk of social exclusion, over 65s, associations and residents at large will be invited to work the land. Each participant will have two terraces where they will be able to use organic farming practices for a period of two years.
