European Commission says France needs to agree in building new gas pipeline

The European Commission said that in order to build the MidCat gas pipeline, France needs to agree first, and avoided taking sides. "Any additional cross-border infrastructure project linking the Iberian peninsula with the rest of Europe needs to be further assessed by the member states concerned."
