8-Nov-22: 'Draft EU parliament report suggests Spain behind espionage of pro-independence figures'
The preliminary findings of the EU Parliament inquiry into the use of the Pegasus spyware suggest the Spanish government was behind the mass espionage of members of the Catalan independence movement. The Spanish government said they want to clarify the facts and defended their own actions, while Catalan officials criticized the use of spyware against political opponents. Some 30 individuals will go to trial for their role in the so-called 3% corruption case.
