Smoke alert on Girona Airport runway

The airplane arriving to Girona from Glasgow landed safely. The incident did not affect airport traffic.

Vilobí d'Onyar (ACN).- A Ryanair airplane arriving to Girona from Glasgow reported an emergency due to smoke. The plane had already landed a little before 10 this morning when the incident occurred. The pilot notified airport officials that smoke was entering the cabin and could be seen at the tail of the aircraft. According to Aena, the passengers were able to leave the plane without any problems. The incident did not affect airport traffic.
