The Catalan economy recovered “dynamism” in the first term of 2018. This, according to Barcelona’s Chamber of Commerce. In a press conference, its president, Miquel Valls, said that the economic side effects of the political woes of last autumn have been “isolated” and only in some sectors, and have been left behind. According to him, tourism and trade were the most affected ones in the last months of 2017, but green numbers are also back in these sectors.
