PP calls Junqueras' article 'very worrying' over prospect of agreed referendum

<p>A People's Party MP in the Spanish Congress has suggested that president Pedro Sánchez has secretly agreed to an independence referendum for Catalonia after jailed Catalan leader Oriol Junqueras cooled on the idea of holding a new vote unilaterally. "What we're looking at is very worrying. There is an attempt to go from an illegal, unilateral referendum, to one agreed with you that is beyond the constitution," says Cuca Gamarra.</p> / ACN
