The eighth edition of Girona10 will take place over the weekend of January 25 to 27, with 64 double hotel rooms in 15 hotels, 166 theatre tickets, and tickets to see FC Girona play, all entirely free for the lucky winners of the prize draw due to take place on January 17.

That means anyone wishing to try their luck in this annual celebration of the hostelry sector needs to sign up on the Girona10 website (www.girona10.net) before Thursday, ahead of the draw on that same day in the nearby Fortress of Sant Julià de Ramis.

The Girona10 campaign, organized by the city's hostelry association, also provides the chance to book meals in some 30 restaurants for 10 euros, offers discounts in local shops, while museums will open their doors to the general public for free or at reduced prices.

Guided visits new for 2019

A novelty of this year's edition are guided visits of characteristic local city sites, such as the guided itineraries 'Emblematic shops' or 'Convents and monasteries.'

Also for 10 euros, participants can purchase tickets for a variety of entertainment events, such as shows at Girona's Auditori venue and Municipal Theatre, for the Girona Comedy Festival, and for the Circ Elefant d'Or international circus festival.
