One officer from the local Barcelona police was injured on Thursday after trying to stop a far-right brawl on a bar terrace. A group of far-right radicals threw chairs and tables at the end of a pro-Spanish unity demonstration in the Catalan capital.

Video footage from the incident show dozens of men behaving violently while the police tries to intervene.

On Thursday, Spain's national day, officers identified 50 people and confiscated weapons such as brass knuckles and chain weapons, along with balaclavas. Four individuals have been reported for having unauthorized weapons.

Around 350 far-right extremists demonstrated in the Catalan capital to defend Spain's unity and protest against independence.
