The Spanish delegate to Catalonia, Teresa Cunillera, has announced that there will be an increase in the number of personnel positions in immigration offices in the country.

“We will work to be useful to citizens, we want to be an administration that serves their needs,” Cunillera said.

In a statement, the Spanish delegation said that over the years there have been “dysfunctions” in immigration offices that Cunillera says she wants to put right.

“When I had been delegate for just one week, I went to Madrid to demand more personnel and resources for immigration offices, and in just over a month the government has responded positively,” Cunillera explained. She emphasized that there are some officials who “work very well despite the vacancies, and now they will be reinforced.”
