Catalan president Quim Torra would support a march throughout Europe if leaders on trial for the push for independence and referendum were to be found guilty, as disclosed by sources close to the president.

This would be done in order to exert pressure on an international level, and some officials in pro-independence organizations and parties suggest the march could begin in Barcelona and, from the Catalan city, move on to several European capitals. This project is however still in theoretical stages, as no official proposal has been made.
