Spanish police arrested on Wednesday a famous actor denounced by a Christian group for blasphemous comments.

Willy Toledo, from Madrid, was detained by police after he refused to attend court to respond to the lawsuit. He faces the judge on Thursday, so he will have to spend the night in jail.

In a very typical Spanish expression, Toledo said on Facebook: "Me cago en Dios", which would be literally translated into English as "I shit on God". He went on to say the same about the Virgin Mary and described Spain as a "disgraceful" country.

His comments came after a judge decided to investigate three women for an alleged crime against religious sentiment after they carried out a march with a giant vagina calling it a "procession of the rebellion's pussy."

A separate lawsuit against him caused him to now also being prosecuted for offending religious people.
