9-Nov-17 TV News: 'Spanish General Prosecutor asks for prison for Catalan Parliament members'

Six members of the Catalan parliament bureau testified in the Spanish Supreme Court today, including the Parliament president, Carme Forcadell. They are being accused of the same charges as the eight deposed Catalan ministers, who have been in jail for a week now. That is, rebellion, sedition and misappropriation of public funds. And the Spanish prosecutor has decided to ask for the same: prison. In the meantime, President Puigdemont, sacked by Mariano Rajoy’s cabinet, is in Belgium to defend the legitimacy of his government. / ACN
