Girona (ACN).- The Celler de Can Roca offered blood donors at the Josep Trueta Hospital in Girona a taste of their cuisine. The act is part of an initiative from the Blood and Tissue Bank’s campaign ‘Tinc sang de Sibarita’ (I have Sybarite blood). It took place on Tuesday and Wednesday in Girona with the objective of promoting blood donation. “We are contributing our part by offering people the essential elements to recuperate after their donation”, said Jordi Roca, one of the 3 brothers in charge of the Celler de Can Roca. The Blood and Tissue Bank currently collects some 7,300 bags of blood per week.
