Barcelona's nightlife has once again been recognized as one of the most exciting in the world.

Two of Barcelona's nightclubs are among the world's top ten, with Shôko Barcelona in 5th place and Opium Barcelona in 7th.

The prestigious list of the World's 100 Best Clubs, compiled by the International Night Life Association, was announced Monday night at the Golden Moon Awards ceremony in Barcelona.

Spain dominates the top 10 with six nightclubs, largely driven by the vibrant nightlife scene in Ibiza, which boasts four clubs among the top ten. Hï Ibiza, located on the island, took the coveted top spot.

Catalonia has a significant presence in the top 100, with 12 clubs making the cut. Barcelona hosts nine of them: Shôko Barcelona (5th), Opium Barcelona (7th), Bling Bling Barcelona (15th), Sutton Barcelona (20th), Sala Apolo/Nitsa Club (39th), Razzmatazz (59th), Pacha Barcelona (79th), Input High Fidelity Dance Club (85th), and Carpe Diem Lounge Club (97th).

Outside Barcelona, notable clubs in Catalonia include Disco Tropics in Lloret de Mar (48th), Biloba Lleida in Lleida (81st), and Tropical Salou in Salou (90th).
