Barcelona (CNA).- The former leader of The Police, Sting, will sing before a Barcelona audience in October during his tour entitled ‘Symphonicities’. The show, for which tickets are already available, will revisit Sting’s hits, mainly from his solo career. He will play next to the Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra from London.
The album that has inspired the tour will be issued on the 9th of October. The tour starts in September. In addition to Barcelona, the tour will visit Bilbao (27th October) and Madrid (30th October).

The last disc put out by Sting was ‘If on a winter’s night…’ which was released last December. More than a million copies have been sold around the world.

‘Roxanne’, ‘Englishman in New York’, and ‘Every little thing she does is magic’ are some of the 20 songs that include new musical arrangements to be played together with a symphonic orchestra. The project has been produced by Sting himself and mixed by Claudius Mittendorfer, collaborator of famous bands such as Franz Ferdinand.
