Barcelona (CNA).- Just before the adult Sonar festival starts, the second edition of SonarKids has once again brought electronic music to their youngest fans. With the weather holding out, the Barcelona Museum of Contemporary Art (MACBA) rocked as workshops, games and gigs filled the centre of town. On stage, Majorcan musician Joan Miquel Oliver and The Pinker Selectors (a special session by Barcelona-based band The Pinker Tones) adapted their sets to kids. Inside the MACBA, family-based workshops were held featuring famous designers like Josep Abril or Jordi Labanda.
Aside from the music, kids could play architectural games, learn how to be a DJ or how to ride a skateboard, paint a wall or design a dress. These workshops were so successful that, by the afternoon, most of them were sold out. Performances from Electrotoylets, El Chavo, Jimi Tenor or Brodas Bros ‘Snippet’ completed a line-up which drew a great turnout and huge participation from an enthusiastic audience.
