The first trailer for the long-awaited film 'Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom’ directed by the Catalan filmmaker J A Bayona was released on Wednesday, much to the delight of fans of the film series, originally based on the book by Michael Crichton.

The critically-acclaimed director, known for his success in the film ‘A Monster Calls’ featuring Liam Neeson, is branching out into another genre with the direction of this highly anticipated sequel, due to be released on June 8.
In 'Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom’, the dinosaurs will be seen wreaking havoc outside of the theme park. After the chaos created by the escape of the intelligent Indominus Rex in the island of Nubla, they will, for the first time, be breach the borders of the amusement park.  A new threat will appear to turn the prehistoric beasts into deadly weapons.

Again, the protagonists will be Owen Grady (Chris Pratt) and Claire Dearing (Bryce Dallas Howard).
J A Bayona was born in Barcelona in 1975. He is known for blockbuster hits ‘The Orphanage’ released in 2007, and ‘A Monster Calls’ out last year. He also directed ‘The Impossible’ a thriller about a family on holiday in Thailand caught up in the aftermath of the 2004 tsunami.
