Iconic Led Zeppelin's Robert Plant, to perform at Festival Cruïlla Barcelona

Festival Cruïlla Barcelona has unveiled more artists that will perform at the seventh edition of the celebration, which is to be held on the 8th, 9th, and 10th of July. The newly confirmed artists in the festival´s line-up are Robert Plant, along with The Sensational Space Shifters, Crystal Fighters, Cat Power, Skunk Anansie and Esperanza Spalding, amongst many others. However, one of the most outstanding artists confirmed is Robert Plant, the iconic voice of Led Zeppelin. He will perform the album ‘Lullaby…and the Ceaseless Roar’ for the first time in Spain with the accompaniment of The Sensational Space Shifters. The festival has also announced its daily concert schedule, and that it is keeping its pass price at 90 euros.

Barcelona (CNA).- Festival Cruïlla Barcelona to be held from the 8th until the 10th of July, has added yet more artists to the line-up of its 2016 seventh edition. Now on the line-up are artists such as Robert Plant and the Sensational Space Shifters, Crystal Fighters, Cat Power, Skunk Anansie, and many more. Many artists will be performing repertoires from new albums, like Crystal Fighters, Catalan singer and songwriter Adrià Puntí and Skunk Anansie. Plant´s 2014 album ‘Lullaby…and the Ceaseless Roar’ will additionally be performed in Spain for the first time. Cat Powers, who performed at Cruïlla in 2013 and gifted flowers to her audience, will again perform at the festival. The festival has also disclosed that it will maintain the 90 euros rate for festival passes, and has released a detailed concert schedule for each day. 


Robert Plant, the iconic voice of Led Zeppelin, will perform the album ‘Lullaby…and the Ceaseless Roar’ for the first time in Spain with the accompaniment of The Sensational Space Shifters. 

Crystal Fighters, in their usual energetic and lively style of performance,will present their not-yet-released third album at the festival. Chan Marshall, better known as Cat Power, will also return to Cruïlla after a prior performance in 2013, when she distributed roses to festival-goers in the audience. Noting that she is “always at her best”, the festival organisers wonder what she might have planned for this year.  

Adrià Puntí will also present his new album, ´La clau de girar el taller´, alongside the Rauten Band, while Skunk Anansie will perform their new album Anarchytecture. 

These new artists are added to the already confirmed line-up, which includes Damien Rice, the Alabama Shakes, Vetusta Morla, Bunbury, Fermín Muguruza & New Orleans Basque Orkestra, Love of Lesbian, 091, Ana Tijoux and Zoo. 

The festival has also announced its daily concert schedule, and that it is keeping its pass price at 90 euros.
