Highlights from the morning session of day 9 of the Catalan trial

In this morning's session, we heard from Iñigo Urkullu, the Basque president thought to have acted as a discreet link between Catalonia and Spain during the crisis. He told the court that Puigdemont "had no intention of declaring independence." We also heard testimony from Ada Colau, the current mayor of Barcelona, as well as various Catalan MPs and officials. / ACN
