<p>A group of members of the European Parliament visited Catalan leaders in prison today and urged for their immediate release. Seven politicians and activists in favor of independence have been in prison for months for their role in last year’s referendum. Today, nine months on from when some of them entered jail for the first time, they were visited in prison by a group of 13 members of the European Parliament.
