The Spanish judge in charge of the independence case will also have to face court himself.... in Belgium. This, as a result of a lawsuit filed there by Puigdemont and his deposed ministers in Brussels. The date set: September 4. The Catalan officials abroad have taken legal action against Pablo Llarena, the judge prosecuting 25 pro-independence leaders. They demand impartiality, an independent judge, a fair trial and the presumption of innocence. Because, they say, they aren’t getting any of these. In today's show, we get you the latest on this new twist in the ongoing political conflict between Catalonia and Spain. And we also find out about the attempt of leaders in jail to transfer responsibilities to the newly elected ministers.
