Europe calls for dialogue, but the Spanish government and the King don’t seem to take the hint. Indeed, they are far from sitting at the table for this. The Catalan issue has never been so international as it has today. The European Parliament has discussed the current situation to follow the referendum. Today, Catalans have gone back to work after yesterday’s strike, and expectations are increasing. There might be a declaration of independence next Monday… or some measure by Madrid to avoid it. / ACN
