17-Jan-18 TV News: 'Catalan Parliament reopens after suspension of self-rule'

Catalonia has its Parliament up and running again, after the Spanish government dissolved it three months ago. The opening session of the new term was held today. Roger Torrent has been appointed as new Parliament president. The pro-independence parties kept the majority in the chamber’s bureau, despite some MPs being absent. Here at Catalan News we’ll get you everything about today’s session, and we’ll introduce you to Roget Torrent. / ACN
