The Catalan government has put a declaration of independence on hold, after a very intense day in Parliament. President Puigdemont stated that Catalonia has won the right to be independent, but has suspended any possible independence declaration on hold for a few weeks, urging Spain to engage in negotiations, following recommendations from the international community.
