Is this an offer you can’t refuse? The Italian-American actor Robert De Niro, best known for films such as Goodfellas, Taxidriver, and The Godfather Part II, is going to open a hotel in Barcelona.

As part of his luxury hotel chain, the Nobu Hotel Barcelona will be the fourth instalment of the company in Europe, in a partnership project with hotel group Selenta. It will be located in the Torre Catalunya, already a hotel, located next to Sants train station, the main railway transport hub of the Catalan capital.

The current manager will keep the property of the hotel, but the building itself will be converted into the Nobu Hotel Barcelona, Nobu being the name of the Hollywood actor’s hotel company.

According to a statement released on Friday, it will have 259 rooms, and be “the benchmark of the (Nobu) firm on the European continent.”

As De Niro said in the Martin Scorsese classic ‘Casino’, “There are three ways of doing things around here: the right way, the wrong way and the way that I do it.”

The company currently has hotels all over the world, including cities such as Las Vegas, Miami, London, Ibiza, and Malibu.

De Niro himself will be present at the hotel's inauguration, expected to take place early 2019, alongside Nobu co-founder Nobuyuki "Nobu" Matsuhisa.
