The multinational Denso Barcelona expects to reach a turnover of 380 million euros in 2018. The Japanese multinational, a world leader in the manufacturing of global automotive components, consolidated investments of 70 million euros in the last four years (10 million more than the 60 that had originally been forecast).

This investment has then allowed the automating of production lines, introducing elements of business 4.0 to their work process, allowing them to acquire a warehouse building and secure entry-level quality control, incorporating new professionals and bettering their installations.

The company has 800 workers, 200 of which were incorporated starting in 2015, and it foresees arriving to personnel of 1,000 by 2020. Currently, Denso Barcelona’s main customers are manufacturers Toyota, Volvo, and Mazda. The Catalan capital plant is also working on new projects for new clients, such as for Ford and General Motors.
